Here at Walkabout Village we offer supported communtity connections by providing rides to community gatherings & events, we are able to create social spaces were we support their independence by their a choice and say. There is never a dull moment at Walkbout Village as we provide
■ Specialized Habilitation
Here at Walkabout Village we provide specialized habilitation by helping clients with excersie, mobiltiy training, and other therapies specialized for each client's needs. We also support to enchance their well-being, create healthy relationships, navigate challenges, and improve their overall quality of life.
■ Transportation - Wheelchair Accessible
Walkabout Village vans are upfitted with wheelchair lift, safety handles and running board.
■ QMAP Approved for Medication
We always have staff on hand who are trained in Qualified medication administration personnel (QMAP) to provide otc and perscription medications.
Some are trained to give gastrointestinal food,water, and medication via
g-tube.
